Here For You

I've been working hard lately getting ready for a new Craft Market that my friend and I are putting together, (you can checkout our Facebook page here!), but I took a break from packaging cards today to make one.

I haven't played along with Mojo Monday for a while so I used their sketch.  I quite liked this one!

I also decided to play along with The Paper Players and their colour combo challenge.

I must admit that Rich Razzleberry is not a colour I use very much; which is why I decided to try this challenge.

Heres My Card...

Here are the details:
Cardstock: Pool Party, Whisper White, Basic Black
DSP : Razzleberry Lemonade (retired)
Tools: Framed Tulips Embossing Folder
Embellishments: Whisper White Baker's Twine, Rich Razzleberry Button
Stamp: Pretty Petites
Ink: Rich Razzleberry

Pretty Packages

I was wrapping a gift for a friend's birthday and decided to try the bow Shelli showed us at convention.

I used the Gift Bow Bigz L Die with some retired newsprint DSP, a bit of gold spritz spray, the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set with gold embossing powder, and voila!

Get Embossed!

Today's challenge over at Catherine and Caty Create is all about embossing. I used both dry and heat embossing on this card.  If you saw my last post you know I was playing with some parcel paper to make leaves. This card has a different take on them. Here's My Card:

Today's leaves were cut using the Autumn Accents Die, stamped with Fall Foliage (sadly, it's retired) and then embossed with Gold Embossing Powder and then a bit of Orange Glitter was added.  For the dry embossing I used the Square Lattice Embossing Folder on the card base, and the Pretty Print Embossing Folder on the accent piece.

Here's the rest of the details:
Cardstock - Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze
DSP - Sweater Weather
Accessories  - Brads
Stamp Set - Day of Gratitude (retired)

Fall Thanksgiving

Today I decided to play along with The Paper Players and their challenge to create a Fall themed card.  I had just wrapped a gift using brown paper - the kind you use to wrap a parcel - and there was an end piece laying on my table.

So I was thinking I should be able to use that and decided to sponge a piece all over.  I used Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Always Artichoke and Chocolate Chip.

I put the full piece through the Big Shot with the Autumn Accents die and voila!

Here's My Card:
